xAP TOM10

Introduction

An interface was required from the TOM10 to xAP. To date one which was robust was unavailable and therefore a plug in for xFx was developed.

Again, this plug in requires .NET 2.0/C# 2005 and the unreleased xFx for .NET 2.0

The Com port and the baud rate can be specified, as well as the interval between polls of the TOM10, in the main config file.

In a separate config file the mapping between sensor name and subinstance is made. Also the delta between readings required to generate a xAPBSC.event message.

In addition to scripting, the readings can be displayed on the house floor layout using xAP Floorplan.

Pretty chilly in the Bedroom!
